Pearl of Polish Economy for J.W. Construction Company
J.W. Construction Holding S.A. the largest Polish developer became a laureate of the Vth edition of ranking Pearls of Polish Economy organized by the magazine “Polish Market” and Institute of Economics of Polish Science Academy. The prize awarded in category “Large Pearls” was received by Jerzy Zdrzałka, President of the J.W. Construction’s Managing Board.

The prize was awarded for constant execution of policy and enterprise’s strategy as well as leader position among the most dynamic and the most effective enterprises in Poland;
Pearls of Polish Economy is an objective ranking rating a whole spectrum of a company’s activity. There were rated about 1000 enterprises whose revenues exceed 100 million PLN. Rating of an enterprise was dependent on progress in utilization of three production factors: capital, fixed assets and work. There were rated, among others, dynamics of revenues, capital productivity, work efficiency and rate of sales profitability.
*** J.W. Construction is the largest Polish apartment developer, present, most of all in Warsaw but also in Łódź and Gdynia as well as abroad. The Company is a leader on the Warsaw housing market where it has been running developer activity since 1994. The company, apart from execution of developer projects deals with construction activity being general contractor of most of investments. J.W. Construction is an owner and operator of chain of Hotel 500 consisting of 5 hotels: in Zegrz, Stryków, Tarnów Podgórny, Cieszyn and Św. Lipka. On June 4th 2007 the company announced its debut on Warsaw Stocks Exchange Market. In 2006 J.W Construction earned 132 million PLN (net) and received 726 million revenues.
